Kids Day: Halloween Edition – October 26 & 31, 2019! Posted: October 18, 2019 Join us for fall family fun at the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market this Halloween! Two great market days filled with autumn activities perfect for kids The St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market is getting into the fall spirit! Join us for Kids Day: Halloween Edition… two fun market days filled with exciting autumn activities for kids of all ages! Saturday, October 26 & Thursday, October 31, 2019 9am-3pm Pumpkin Decorating (Saturday, October 26): Kids can decorate and take home their very own pumpkin with a variety of kid-friendly supplies. By donation, while supplies last (proceeds to go to future kids activities at the Market). Located in the courtyard between Peddlers Village and the New Market Building. 9am-3pm while supplies last. Costume Parade (Thursday, October 31): Meet us at 10am in the Market Tent with your young ones and follow the leader to show off your awesome costume around the Market! Trick-Or-Treating (Thursday, October 31): Head to the kids zone to pick up a map, or tour around the market and visit many of our friendly vendors. Look for an orange pumpkin sticker for candy and treats, or a teal pumpkin sticker for a non-edible option so that everyone can celebrate regardless of restrictions! Don’t forget to bring something to carry those treats! Face Painting: Join Happy Space in the Market Tent during regular market hours for fun face painting! FREE for kids from 11am-1pm on Thursday, October 31, or a paid activity for any age during regular market hours on either day! Craft Station: Create a fun autumn craft, or opt for a Halloween themed colouring sheet, and get creative using the fall market colours as your inspiration. Located in the Kids Zone by the Market Office outside Peddler’s Village and the Market Tent. Fall Activities: Take your turn at gourd checkers, listen to the fun sounds of the Market Buskers, get your fall eats and treats at one of our many delicious food vendors, take family photos at one of our instagram-able backdrops, or connect with vendors around the market with or without a self guided map tour. No matter what you choose to participate in, the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market is your top destination for family fun this fall.
